Breaking the Code..

When I started this blog, someone told me that all subjects should be fair game except for politics and religion.

I won't get overly political, but I do have to post this. i think I might just change the theme of this blog to a Best of The Daily Show fansite for the next few months.

Subsitute Blogging.

Hey everyone (both of you),

I'll be here for the next couple of weeks. I'll post a link each time I publish.

Here's the first

My former self, revealed.

If any one has seen me at a wedding, they can attest that I am not exactly deficient in the dancing department. I have rhythm that is usually reserved for professionals. I did a lot of dancing growing up in New Jersey. I also used to work out a ton; I had a body builder's physique.

Unortunately for me, you have to constantly work at maintaining a perfect body. The years have softened my body. However, once you have dance perfected, it stays with you forever.

Here's a video of me at the 1999 Dancing Warriors State Finals. My competitive moniker was Abs of Steel Drums.

This is what Fall feels like..

in NJ.

What a day out in Seattle! It's my favorite type of weather. Makes me want to go back to grammar school or at least go apple picking.

The weekend is here, and many events will probably include alcohol for you all (SeaFair, Palatine Party, etc).

Here's the best hangover prevention ever:

Pre-drinking: Purchase some milk thistle pills, a bottle of Kombucha, and vitamin b-12 in liquid form.

After your night out, before going to bed:
1. Drink half of the bottle of Kombucha. Put the bottle back in the refrigerator.
2. Put a dropper's worth of B-12 in a LARGE glass of water
3. Put two milk thistle tablets on your tongue
4. Drink the water/b12 glass.
5. Fill up the glass again and put it next to your bed. Drink as you wish.
6. When you wake up, take two more milk thistles and the rest of your cold Kombucha.

This may seem like a lot of work, but you can get all of the ingredients at a Pharmaca or other natural foods store.

If you can't find liquid b-12, try the tablets.

You're welcome!

G-Chat LOL.

I was just visting with my friend Tim on G-Mail Chat. Tim lives in San Francisco. We've been friends for a a decade. He's one of a few people from the East coast who I can visit out on this side of the country.

Tim also happens to be one of the funniest people I've ever known.

Case in point:

Me: Whats up for this weekend?
TimP:: ah, well..Jay N Bees tonight,
Work tomorrow and Sunday but going to watch breakfast club in Dolores Park Sat night
and bbq Sunday evening besides that ... nothing. You?
Me: Working both days? I thought the song was "Everybody's working FOR the weekend." Not "ON the weekend".
TimP: oh...damnit. I must have a remix then.

Ready, Set....Gah.

So, I have a blog now. Since my first post, I have been at a bit of a loss for what to actually write about. I have been vaguely considering creating one for a while now. I do enjoy writing and I think the Internet is the greatest invention since, well, possibly ever. So, I always figured that I'd eventually combine the two when I felt compelled.

After two of my favorite bloggers suggested I join in on the party, and on a rather vulnerable morning, I impulsively made the plunge. Immediately, I thought to myself that I never realized how easy it is to get a blog started. Currently, I'm realizing how difficult it is going to be to keep one going.

However, ready or not, here I am.

To clear things up for any of you that don't know me, I am not actually a member of the Aztec tribe. I am white. More specifically, I am a white man who drives a Pontiac Aztek in a Subaru Outback's world.

Ultimately, I don't think I'll have a general theme of topics, but I do vow to keep new posts coming at least weekly.

Thanks for coming.

Next Post: I'm going to compare Aztecs to Azteks. They have a lot more in common than you'd think.

Toast.

I attended a bachelor party last night.

If my liver could emote, it would probably say this:
